20 sheets, 17.5 inches tall

Your cat scratches around the guards. Not these.

ClawCuddle Guard Set is 20 clear sheets tall enough to cover the whole arm, with enough in the box for every arm and corner your cat goes for. No tape to peel off and chew.

  • No tools needed
  • Up in minutes
  • Comes off clean

Built from real "nothing works" posts by cat owners in four cat communities.

Watch where the paw lands

Strip guards stop a few inches up the arm. Cats find the bare edge above them. Tap the tabs to see the difference a tall sheet makes.

Made for the cat who finds the gap

We read what cat owners said about every fix they tried. Then we picked sheets big enough to fix the failures.

Covers the whole zone

Each sheet is 17.5 inches tall, so it runs from the seat cushion to the top of the arm. Twenty sheets in the box means every arm and every corner, on more than one piece of furniture, not one strip on one spot.

What we heard

“still scratch just above the furniture protectors I have or she'll awkwardly stretch around it to the small strip that's uncovered”

r/CATHELP

Nothing to chew

No double sided tape. The sheets are self adhesive vinyl and press flat to the fabric, with twist pins to hold the edges. There is no loose strip for a cat to peel off and chew.

What we heard

“She'll also eat the tape, so that's not an option for me either.”

r/CATHELP

Clear and discreet

The sheets are clear and flexible. They follow the curve of the arm and the couch color shows through. Guests see your couch, not a guard.

What we heard

“Works great - she scratches "the couch" and the couch stays unharmed. It's just not very aesthetically appealing”

r/CatAdvice

Comes off clean

Residue free when removed. Peel them off when you move, when you get a new couch, or when the cat finally loses interest. Good news if you rent.

What we heard

“I don't even want to get new furniture because I know what's going to happen”

The arm is always the target. Cover it and the rest of the couch stops being one.

Questions from people who tried everything

Pulled from the posts that shaped the set.

My cat scratches around every guard I have put up. Why would this be different?

Strip guards are short, and cats find the bare edge above them. These sheets are 17.5 inches tall, enough to run from the seat cushion to the top of most arms, and there are 20 of them so you can cover the corner and the side too. Measure your arm before you order so one sheet reaches the top.

My cat eats tape. Is there any tape in this?

No. There is no double sided tape anywhere in the set. The sheets are self adhesive vinyl that press flat to the furniture, with twist pins for the edges on fabric. Nothing hangs loose for a cat to peel off and chew.

Guards are ugly. Is this any better?

The sheets are clear and flexible, so the couch color and texture show through and they follow the curve of the arm. They are not invisible up close. From across the room, you see your couch.

My couch is already damaged. Is it too late?

The sheets will not repair scratches that are already there. They cover the damaged spot and protect it from getting worse. If you plan to replace the couch, order the set with it and cover the new one on day one.

Will this stop my cat scratching?

No product stops a cat from wanting to scratch. These sheets protect the surface so the scratching does no damage. Most cats lose interest in a spot once their claws slide off it. Put a scratcher next to the covered arm so your cat has somewhere better to go.

Will it work on leather?

Yes. On leather and faux leather, the sheets adhere on their own. Do not use the twist pins there; they are for fabric only. The sheets come off residue free. Measure before you order, because sizing mistakes cannot be returned. If anything arrives damaged or wrong, send us a photo within 30 days and we replace it or refund you.

What cat owners told us before we built it

We have no customer reviews yet. These are real posts from cat communities that shaped the set.

“He has not 1, not 2, but THREE scratching boards available to him that he uses regularly, but he's been taking a crack at the couch too. I've tried everything that all the articles (and even his vet) said and NOTHING WORKS.”

“One of mine somehow manages to still scratch just above the furniture protectors I have or she'll awkwardly stretch around it to the small strip that's uncovered. She'll also eat the tape, so that's not an option for me either.”

“I feel like I've tried everything at this point. Scratching posts, cardboard ones, even putting stuff around the couch and they still go straight for it. It's getting to the point where I don't even want to get new furniture because I know what's going to happen.”

“Works great - she scratches "the couch" and the couch stays unharmed. It's just not very aesthetically appealing, but works for me.”

“So far, I've covered the section that he scratches and he's now found another part to scratch. I only have so many scratching boards to use as a cover so I'll have to figure it out.”
